joy catalogue prints
hi, i’m sally. i’m a self-taught printmaker in central west nsw working with lino and ink.
printmaking is a meditation. the core processes of drawing, carving, inking and printing demand that you think about what your hands are working on as they transform from sketch into print.
i created joy catalogue prints to record life’s little joys. i hope when you bring one of my original handprinted artworks into your home they are a reminder of joy in your world each day.

a risograph is a type of printer developed in japan in the 1980s. it’s a bit like a digital screen printer. it produces charming, sometimes a little wonky, prints in a set range of colours.
these perky persimmons are fluoro orange and blue.
